17 Reasons Why
Pacific Northwestern Folk-Pop never sounded so good (except for Elliott Smith, but call him Folk-Pop and pasty kids with bowl haircuts will kill you). The acoustic guitars here chime out and sustain notes that harmonize with the female singer's vaporous vocals. The songs are symbiotically moody and catchy.
