Andrea Echeverri is the lead singer of the seminal Colombian rock band Aterciopelados. Echeverri released her self-titled solo debut in 2005. Echeverri's solo work is a departure from her work with Aterciopelados: quieter and more instrospective. Echeverri claims her new status as a mom encouraged her to try new musical directions.
