Barry and the Remains
Led by Barry Tashian, Boston's Remains built their crisp, energetic sound around striking harmonies and a frantic live show.
The Remains toured with the Beatles in 1966, on the Beatles final tour of the United States.
The Remains broke up in 1966, shortly after their only LP was released on Epic.
The Remains' live shows were legendarily crazed, yet their recorded material shows a more concentratedly fierce side.
Drummer N.D. Smart II went on to play for Gram Parsons. Barry Tashian now performs with his wife Holly, in Nashville.
