An emcee out of Harlem, Black Rob is best known for his hugely popular 1999 anthem "Whoa." Signed to Puffy's Bad Boy label, Black Rob released his debut LP, Life Story, in 1999. Unfortunately for Rob, his promising career was hampered by an arrest on gun and drug charges.
