To commemorate the thirtieth anniversary of Marc Bolan’s death, Edsel Records will release a dinosauresque amount of T. Rex reissues and compilations. First up, Edsel will re-press three T. Rex vinyl singles, with each B-side featuring an unreleased track. Live 1977 + In Conversation, featuring songs from T. Rex’s final tour and various interviews, and Interstellar Soul, a three-disc collection of demos and rarities, will be unearthed on October 1st and October 15th, respectively. Twelve years after the death of singer Shannon Hoon, members of Blind Melon along with new singer Travis Warren will tour to promote their first new album since the posthumous Hoon album Nico in 1996.
