The long-awaited follow-up to Dre's 1992 masterpiece ("The Aftermath" doesn't really count), 2001 didn't make quite the impact The Chronic did. How could it? It was nonetheless outstanding. Snoop returns on several tracks, while Eminem, Xzibit, Devin, and Hitman contribute as well. Standouts include the Nate Dogg-laced "Xxplosive" and "The Next Episode."
