C'mon Everybody

Eddie Cochran

Written by: Cochran, Jerry Capehart
Produced by: Capehart
Released: Oct. '58 on Liberty
Charts: 12 weeks
Top spot: No. 35

Cochran was paid $82.50 for the three-hour session that produced this classic rockabilly track. The follow-up to his smash "Summertime Blues," "C'mon" is a good-natured bad-boy tune powered by Cochran's heavy strumming on his Martin guitar. Although he died young in a 1960 car crash, Cochran became a crucial influence in England.
