Frank Morgan
Originally a Bebop bred stylist firmly in the Charlie Parker mold, Morgan eventually developed a slightly tougher sound of his own. His career was interrupted in the '50s due to drug problems, but he bounced back surprisingly in the late '80s with a string of well-received albums.
