Goober & The Peas
Despite an affinity for fancy country garb, Goober & the Peas have a great deal of Indie and Hard Rock in their music: simple, Punk-inspired riffs mix with scorching guitar fills. In fact, they sound a bit like a more mellow Supersuckers. The singer possesses an appropriate twang, however, and song titles like "Hot Women (Cold Beer)" reveal a humorous, irreverent sense of humor.
