This Acid Jazz/hip-hop ensemble from New York was formed in 1990 by emcee Nappy G and flautist Richard Worth. Best described as a fourteen-member, hip-hop-inspired improvisational jazzy dance free-for-all. Groove Collective are the quintessential sound of live Gotham dance music: multicultural, ubertalented, and always cool.
