The New York Times has a large piece on how Rosie O’Donnell has gone “emo” and is now spending all of her time video blogging. She’s also obsessed with Beth Ditto, the hefty, tranny-dating, glamorous frontwoman for The Gossip, with whom Rosie appeared during the True Colors tour stop at Radio City Music Hall June 18th. “This girl is a genius,” O’Donnell enthuses to her webcam. “She’s got the voice of Alison Moyet and Janis Joplin all mixed together. She is this amazing creature.” Still no comment from Sally Jessy Raphael on that Long Blondes tour.
