The group's debut may lack the presence of Grace Slick, but the band gets by with a dreamy yet muscular mix of folk-rock and psychedelia. Their spiraling guitar leads are straight from the Byrds, while their rambling blues-folk is purely their own. This deluxe edition contains a great selection of outtakes, including a strong version of "High Flyin' Bird."
