Kerrianne Cox
This Aboriginal singer-songwriter won Australia's Next Big Thing competition in 1996, when she was just twenty-two years old. Since then, she's released several albums and won acclaim both domestically and abroad for her sensitive songwriting and skilled musicianship. She was elected chairperson of her native Beagle Bay Community in 2004 and now divides her time between performing, writing and community work.
