Livin' End
Heavily R&B-influenced Garage band from Abilene, Texas that lasted from '65-'68 without releasing so much as a 45. Although their repertoire was made up of well chosen, guitar-driven covers like the Creation's "Makin' Time" and the Rolling Stones' "Get Off My Cloud," their fuzzed up originals and tracks like "My Destination" (a raved-up reworking of the Beatles' "Daytripper") showed them to be a more than competent group of Garage punks. The Collectables label has collected their music on one compilation, which also includes music by the Coachmen, founding member Wayland Huey's first band.
