An O.G. Bay Area player, Mac Dre has been putting out Funk-filled Gangsta records since 1989.
His albums include "Young Black Brother," "Back n Da Hood," and "Stupid Doo Doo Dumb."
He's also put out compilations including "The Rompalation 1 & 2" and "Cutthroat Committee-Turf Buccaneers."
In '92, Mac Dre was sent to prison for five years over a string of Bay Area bank robberies.
In 2004, Mac Dre was gunned down while travelling through Kansas City, Missouri. He was 34.
