This Mexican pop star is gifted with an adoring fan base, an excellent voice, and a versatile style. Solis was awarded with the Latin Billboard Lifetime Achievement Award in 2005. He also won a Latin Grammy in 2004 for Song of the Year. Solis formed his first band when he was just 12 years old with his cousin. They called themselves, paradoxically, los Hermanos Solis.
