A striking and seductive mix of pop, jazz, country, folk and blues. Jones' voice and piano playing are superb but so are the rich and layered guitars courtesy of Bill Frisell and others. Finally, the diverse fans of the Cowboy Junkies, Shelby Lynne, Rickie Lee Jones and Cassandra Wilson have an artist they can all embrace.
