One of Zimbabwe's premier musicians, Tuku plays styles including chimurenga, mbaqanga, tribal Korekore drumming, and Jit.
Mtukudzi's particular blend of different strains of Zimbabwean traditional music has been dubbed "Tuku music."
Bonnie Raitt is a huge fan of Mtukudzi. She's even credited him with inspiring several of her songs.
