A sweeping mix of European classical and Japanese folk traditions, this collection of Sakamoto's most famous commissioned works includes the Oscar-winning theme to The Last Emperor as well as "El Mar Mediterrani" (his suite for the Barcelona Olympics), the deeply melancholy "Little Buddha," and a live version of "Forbidden Colours" with David Sylvian.
