The Bevis Frond
Nick Saloman, aka The Bevis Frond, is a one man show who has been indulging the world in his homespun psychedelia since the early 1980s'. As head of his own Woroznow Records and publisher of the Ptolemic Terrascope, Saloman has kept the pure organic feel of psychedelia alive without it seeming archaic. His earlier records showed a penchant for longer Cream-styled jams, but more recently through his work with Mary Lou Lord and now Country Joe McDonald he seems to have settled into a more streamlined and palatable sound.
