(NEW YORK) - Producer/label owner Rick Rubin has decided not to sign a new deal with joint-venture partner Warner Bros. Records and will instead take his American Recordings to Sony Music, most likely Columbia, sources say. No details were available at deadline regarding which acts will follow Rubin to Sony. American's roster includes the Black Crowes, Johnny Cash, Slayer, and Sir Mix-A-Lot.
