The Flamin' Groovies
Formed in 1965, many critics consider the Flamin' Groovies to be one of the earliest West Coast pre-Punk bands.
Roy Loney, singer/guitarist/founder of the Groovies, left the band in 1971 and formed the Phantom Movers.
After Roy Loney's departure in 1971, the band moved to England and worked with Pub Rock lynchpin Dave Edmunds.
