With roots in straight-ahead jazz, MMW has steadily evolved with new dimensions in jazz and electronica.
MMW is organist John Medeski, drummer Billy Martin, bassist Chris Wood, and occasionally DJ Logic on the 1s and 2s.
MMW have separately played in NYC Avant-Garde groups such as the Lounge Lizards, the Mandala Octet, Masada, and Shrek.
