The inaugural Zooma tour, created by the promoters of the Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival, has been scrapped just twenty days before its launch date. Organizers cited "unforeseen circumstances" for the tour's cancellation. "It has become clear that it would not be possible to provide [the] experience at the level initially envisioned," reads a statement released Friday.
Jam rockers Trey Anastasio and Ben Harper were scheduled to headline the twenty-nine-city trek, which was set to kick off in Camden, New Jersey, on June 16th. Medeski Martin and Wood, Gomez, Toots and the Maytals, Jurassic 5, Galactic, G. Love and Special Sauce, Black Keys, Brazilian Girls, and Ray Lamontagne were among the twenty-five acts slated to participate.
Ticket refunds for all dates will be available at the venue from where they were purchased.
