Royce Da 5'9"
Representing the streets of Detroit, Royce Da 5'9" is a skilled emcee, who got his start alongside platinum prankster Eminem. After building up a solid rep through various compilation appearances and singles (especially his Primo-produced anthem "Boom" in 2000), Royce released his long-awaited debut LP, Rock City, in early 2002. Unfortunately, label problems, bootleggers, and multiple delays combined to leave the project relatively unnoticed by the masses. In 2004 he returned with Death Is Certain.
