Keys, Peas Join Live 8

Toby Keith, Bjork, Good Charlotte also come on board

Alicia Keys, Black Eyed Peas and Toby Keith have been added to the lineup of Live 8's Philadelphia Museum of Art concert, to be co-hosted by Will Smith and Brad Pitt and produced in part by Def Jam label co-founder Russell Simmons.

"This is the concert of the year, quite possibly of the decade," Rob Thomas, one of the headliners of the Live 8 Philadelphia show, told Rolling Stone.

The roster for Live 8's Tokyo show, at Makuhari Messe, has also finally been set, and will feature Bjork and pop-punks Good Charlotte. Def Tech, Dreams Come True, McFly, Do As Infinity and Rize complete the lineup. The concert at Mary Fitzgerald Square in Johannesburg, South Africa, has been announced as well and will feature African artists 4Peace Ensemble, Jabu Khanyile and Bayete, Lindiwe, Lucky Dube, Mahotella Queens, Malaika, Orchestre Baobab, Oumou Sengare and Zola.

Live Aid organizer Bob Geldof put together Live 8 as a series of international shows to take place on July 2nd to put pressure on the July 6th G8 Summit to take action to end extreme poverty in Africa. The addition of Tokyo makes for a Live 8 concert in every G8 country except Russia.

In other changes, the previously announced Berlin concert has been moved from Brandenburg Gate to SiegessSule, with Audioslave added to its lineup, but Crosby, Stills and Nash dropped. Both Sheryl Crow and Jamiroquai are no longer in the lineup for the Live 8 Paris show at Versailles Palace, and pop-reggae band UB40 will now play the Live 8 London concert in Hyde Park. And Australian rockers Jet have been added to the recently announced Live 8 show in Canada in Barrie, Ontario.

Live 8 will be televised live on this Saturday on MTV and VH1, broadcast by Clear Channel's Premiere Radio Networks and XM Satellite Radio, and Webcast through AOL Music.
